If you happen to be in (or near) Issaquah, this is an awesome place for breakfast. Usually breakfast menus are super-egg-heavy, which is bad for me, since I hate eggs. But here they have the "Montana special", a huge plate of fried potatoes, onions, peppers, bacon, tomatoes, ham, cheddar, and sour cream, with a side of pancakes.

It was totally the breakfast I needed. Everyone else's food was great too.

It's a small place, so you might have to wait. It's worth it.

Joel's spot on. I LOVE THE MONTANA! The food here is excellent.

And yet, the staff is also amazing. My husband and I have been going here for years and they have a very low turn over rate. I've also been amazed at the busboys here. Talk about a study in efficiency and responsibility! I wish every place I went to had such good service.

We where going to skip breakfast and wait until lunch until i saw the reviews for this place. So we had to go for breakfast and i ordered the SMALL Montana and it was more then plenty and plus the side of pancakes. i loved the pancakes and the montana was great. They only thing that sucks is that i cant come back next week to eat it again because its over 1000 miles away from home, ughhh.

We have eaten here on a regular basis for the last 10 years and without exception have not been disapointed! Everything on the menu is worth having time and again. Best pancakes by far...the Montana is to die for, huge portions and great friendly service...

My wife won't eat anyone else's pancakes. I love the Montana. It's not a large restaurant but the food is consistently wonderful.

12th Avenue Cafe has breakfast all day, and big juicy burgers at lunch. I like the relaxing environment and that I always have extra to take home. It is a one-of-a-kind restaurant that is nice to return to.

If you come for breakfast on the weekend, get there early or be prepared to wait. The breakfasts are hot and generous...and the consistent staff is friendly and pretty adept at handling the crush. If you're hungry, get the big Montana scramble. If you and 5 of your friends are starving...dare to get the "large" size.
